Conducting
Commissioned and/or premiered works of living composers in and outside of Singapore with choirs and western and/or eastern instrumental ensembles. Invited as keynote speaker, guest conductor and gives choral workshops to choirs internationally.
Chorus Master for commercial and artistic projects – Avatar Suite, Arvo Pärt’s Passion, Disney-Square Enix’s KINGDOM HEARTS World Tour, Lord of the Rings Live-to-Screen Projection, Wagner’s first fully staged Singaporean production of The Flying Dutchman.
As an artist-educator, has experience working with singers from 6-60++, SATB/SSAA/TTBB, professional to amateur groups. Has also worked with orchestras, wind bands. Choirs have achieved top awards and/or category champions at international and national competitions.
Have (re)started and/or built numerous choirs: Schola Cantorum Singapore Ltd., International Festival Chorus (Singapore), St Andrew’s Junior College Choir, Yuhua Secondary School Choir. Former choirs include Schola Cantorum Singapore Ltd., Dunman High School, Methodist Girls School (Secondary), St Andrew’s Secondary School Choir, Palm View Primary School etc.
